Channel Partners - Step by Step Guide

Overview

HSP provides advanced tools for distributing your connected suppliers' hotel offerings through the HSP system.

As a Channel Partner, you can efficiently distribute your hotel sales to other hotel sellers, ensuring both ease of operation and data protection.

This approach enables you to expand your revenue opportunities.

When choosing to distribute through HSP, there are two main options:

This guide will primarily focus on distribution via API and will cover the following aspects:

  • Understanding how it works.
  • Setting up a 'Demand Partner' / User.
  • Setting appropriate configurations and permissions.
  • Monitoring and managing user access and activities.

Step By Step Guide

Step 1 - Understanding how it works

Distributing through HSP's API allows you to connect your hotel inventory to various external platforms efficiently.
This method is particularly suitable for integrating with B2B and B2C channels such as travel agencies, online booking platforms, and even call centers.

🔑 Key Components:

  • 🙍🏻‍♂️ API / Back-Office Users: User creation within HSP for the purpose of access.
  • 🔐 Credentials: The username and password provided to the user for authentication.
  • ⚙️ Settings / Configurations: Ensuring that the user settings are controlled by the Channel Partner.
  • Throttling: Ensuring that API usage is controlled to prevent misuse.
  • 📊 Monitoring: Keeping track of API calls or Searches along with user activities to maintain system performance.

Step 2 - Setting up a 'Demand Partner' (User)

Create an API User:

  • Log into the HSP Back-Office.
  • Navigate to the User Management section.
