Room.works enables its clients and users to customize various settings and preferences.

These adjustments directly influence the selection and characteristics of the rooms displayed, along with their specific parameters and information.

The below configurations below are available to API users, however most of the settings require configuration of your account by our support team. Please don't hesitate to contact us!

Configuration

1. Content - Suppliers

System Default Content Suppliers :

2. Display parameters (configurable on the SaaS side)

This capability allows the creation of additional rooms beyond the BP based on parameters which are important to the client. Default setting/value is none, which means to rely on the Blue-Print rooms.

The following attributes can be configured to enforce custom behavior of room groups creation:

BedType, View, Accessibility, Smoking, BalconyType, RoomClass, RoomType, NumberOfBedrooms, Placement, MaxOccupancy, SpecialName

Usage of Display attributes overrides the BP room structure and creates more unique room groups based on matching parameters specified in the request. We recommend not to use more than 1 or 2 parameters.

• This parameter can be configured by API user part of the request.

3. Content - Description Suppliers

Specify the preferred order of suppliers for content descriptions. List of relevant suppliers is above.

• This parameter is configured by our support team.

4. Content - Room Attributes (TargetDetails)

Determine whether the API response should include Gimmonix room attribute values (such as room size, room view, etc).

5. Dynamic Rooms

Decide whether the mapper should generate dynamic target rooms for rates that cannot be mapped to the Blueprint existing rooms.

6. TargetRoomKey Suppliers

Choose a list of suppliers to provide the room key, in addition to the GimmonixRoomId.
Example: EPS

7. Primary Room Indication

Set a flag to differentiate between primary and secondary rooms.

8. Limited HotelIds

Restrict the hotels that the user is permitted to map.

• This parameter is configured by our support team.

9. Forced Occupancy Splitting

Toggle the default behavior for occupancy definitions, ensuring that different secondary rooms are created for varying occupancies, or disable this split during live mapping when possible. this will combine BP rooms although the occupancy is different.

10. Gimmonix Photo Urls

Decide whether photos should return with original supplier URLs or GMX CDN URLs.

11. ROH Fallback

For users who prefer an alternative to the default behavior of mapping unmapped sources to Run of House, specify that non-ROH sources should be mapped to a dynamic target instead.

12. Content - Description Languages

Choose the language for returning room descriptions, with the option of falling back to English if the requested language is unavailable. Translated descriptions are sourced from the supplier.

Specify a list of languages for Gimmonix room names. Note that full support may not be available, and Google Translate API may be used.
